MAD is a short name for Media Arts and Design programme in SCC. This CCC-OnSite exhibition is about representing the work of art from the students of MAD3083 Studio Art Practices: Painting Fundamentals in UICSCCDCCDMAD. The students experiment various kinds of visual media and representations, for instance acrylic, water color, oil painting, collage, or mix-media to create their Painting as Personality as claimed by Dali (1961). Thus, the visual imageries and representations are well illustrated, via canvas or paper, by the student’s enthusiasm and commitment in art. During the artistic and creative process, the students need to discover/ to document/ to develop/ to create their artistic style and work of art. Finally, they could reflect/ re-discover/ re-evaluate/ re-create their artistic awareness through their art documentation and commentary, and artist statement.
This exhibition is presented and organized by UIC/SCC/DCCD/MAD and held in Creative Cultural Clusters 2/F Atrium and CC-502 SCC staff office.
