[DCC-MUS Concert] Fantasy and Dances POON DUO Two Pianos Recital

About the Performers  

Young Steinway Artist Sandra Poon (Music faculty at UIC) and her sister May Poon formed the POON DUO in 2012, which is the only two pianos ensemble in Macau. They received their Master degrees at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and Indiana University Jacobs School of Music respectively. The duo was the recipient of the  Special Prize at the Kayabuki Ongakudo International Competition, First Prize in Brussels International Music Competition, First Prize at the Ohio MTA/Graves Piano Competition, Agnes Fowler Scholarship, Macao Postgraduate Scholarship. Poon Duo has performed in the major cities of North America and Asia, and appeared in festivals and concert series such as Macao International Music Festival and Hong Kong Musica del Cuore. Their live recordings have broadcasted at the China Central Radio & Television General Station and Radio Television Hong Kong. In 2019, they gave a Macau-premiere concert of two pianos two percussion.
