The idea for "Timeless Touch: Fingertips of Sound" began with a simple but intimate ritual-doing my nails. l started to notice how something as small as a fingernail could carry so much weight; expectations, judgments, roles we didn't ask for but somehow absorbed. I thought about how girls are told from a young age what colors to like, how to behave, what is "appropriate" at every stage of life.
