My hometown, Dongying, is a city built on oil, and l am a drifting participant in its history. Stepping away from the confined context of living within it, I look back at my hometown through persona narratives, exploring the humanistic emotions that behind the city. The extraction of non-renewable resources is a magnificent carnival doomed to its inevitable finale. in the crevices of this grand conflict, have witnessed the resilience of the spirit and the hardness of life.
