Abstract

As a response of the booming, sometimes overheated Chinese contemporary art market, the talk will lead us to discuss the substantial concept of "contemporary art" by rethinking the relationship between art and us. Through the whole, the vivid detailed cases will be addressed.

About the Speaker

Mr. Jingfang LI studied successively at Hebei Normal University, Repin Academy of Fine Arts, Russia, and Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart, Germany, and obtained a master's degree. He also served as a teacher at the School of Design and Art, Zhuhai College,

Beijing Institute of Technology, and College of Global Talents, Beijing Institute of Technology since September 2017. Mr. Jingfang LI's works won significant inbound and international art

awards, and he has actively involved in enriching the Chinese and international art dialogue by presenting individual and group exhibitions, exchanging knowledge in academic world, and publishing.
