Field trips are an integral part of learning under the Environmental Science Programme of UIC. Throughout the undergraduate years, students have the opportunities to participate in multiple field trips to witness for themselves how the knowledge of environmental science and management is put into practice in real-life settings. Field trips also provide a valuable channel for the environmental science students to get to know and network with industrial partners and potential employers. This is extremely beneficial for their securing of internship opportunities and future career development. Some of the sites the students have visited are shown below.
