Students at UIC, specially students in our CTV major know that college life is much more than book learning. At CTV we uphold the ideals of liberal arts education which celebrate creativity and experiential learning. The 24Frames & Creative Media Festival is very much a platform where these ideals are realized. By showcasing many excellent films, it has made a big impact among in the Pearl River Delta since it began in 2010.

It provides a channel connecting our students with professional from the media and film industry in a language that speaks to students from different regions, from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan to far corners of the earth. It offers a chance for students to make connections and pitch their work to professionals in their filed.

The 24 Frames & Creative Media Festival is also a rewarding opportunity for students to show their creativity and potential in these visual arts fields. We hope that during these exciting events, students can demonstrate their talents and lay a solid foundation for their further studies. In addition to the screenings of FYP pieces, participants have a chance to display their scriptwriting, fiction and non-fiction production abilities, and also their academic talent in the form of dissertation presentations.
