The Immersive Musical & Exhibition titled "The IslandDawn" organized by was held on 2-6 May at UIC exhibition hall.

This event organized by UIC University Musical "The Island" Student Original Team, co-organized by UICER, Imusic, Singing Paradise, Staff and Student Activities Center & Division of Culture and Creativity. UIC musical "The Island" is an original university musical adapted from Victoria Hislops famous novel "The Island" by a student creative team from Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College. Through the immersive guide and interpretation of the actors, each of them had a different perfume, and provided drinks and food made on the spot. The immersive experience was brought to the audience from five different sensory angles. This musical is not only a form of performing art that allows the audience to explore their creativity, but also an experimental exercise that serves as a prelude to future immersive performances on campus.
