Zhuhai Coastal Gallery is one of the few places in Zhuhai where art lovers have gathered for high-quality contemporary art exhibitions. The illuminated white cube space, combined with the thematic exhibitions exploring contemporary society and art, is worthy of study and experience for students majoring in Culture, Creativity and Management.

In the afternoon of  November 3, 2021, Dr. Pui Yee NG, Programme Director of Culture,  Creativity and Management, led the students of major elective course  "Concepts of Contemporary Arts in Cultural Industries" to the Coastal  Gallery in Zhuhai for a field trip.

On the day of the field trip, the museum was holding the thematic exhibition "Book True: The Book Community". The exhibition is a biennial exhibition of outstanding graduation designs organized by the Picture Book Creation Studio of the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Book Binding Studio and Illustration Studio of the Printmaking Department of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. The students spent the afternoon appreciating and experiencing the exquisite illustration artworks in details and immersing themselves in the artistic atmosphere. The field trip enriched the students' understanding of the interaction between contemporary art space and artworks, and allowed them to approach aesthetics in the midst of their intense studies, extending their knowledge of modern art and art museums as an important field in the cultural industries.
