On March 18, 2023, under the leadership of Dr. Park, Acting Assistant Dean of the Department of Culture and Creative Management, Dr. Liang Haiyong, and Dr. Purrie NG, more than 20 students from CCM went to Guangzhou Parc Pearl River to have a visit.
As a key renovation project in Guangzhou and an urban renewal project under Guangzhou Parc Pearl River Co., LTD., the Guangzhou Parc Pearl River is rebuilt from the original factory of Guangzhou Parc Pearl River Group. With a construction area of about 130,000 square meters, it gathers the whole industrial chain of music enterprises, which is a mature platform for cultivating and investing in digital technology and intelligent music industry.
The teachers and students of CCM are looking forward to visiting the Piano Dream Garden. Under the leadership of Tan Yuanming, Director of Market Development Department of Guangzhou Parc Pearl River Operation and Management, CCM teachers and students visited the exhibition space, grand theater, concert hall, conference room and other venues successively, and got to know the layout and vision of Zhuhai exhibition industry.
Guangzhou Parc Pearl River takes music culture as the theme, introduces enterprises and institutions related to big cultural industries such as music industry, film and television media, animation games, art education, fashion design, Internet, non-inheritance, sports and entertainment, and creates a culture and technology integration innovation incubator park for emerging industrial clusters, which is conducive to improving the technological innovation ability of the cultural industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Add a new name card of city culture for Guangzhou.
Under the guidance of the teachers and students, starting from the music block, they visited the Grand Opera, Guoxiao Music, Qibaishi Art Center and other enterprises in the park, visited R space and watched the promotional videos of the park.
The teachers and students said that they benefited a lot from the visit, which not only promoted their understanding of the courses they had learned, but also enabled them to master the first-hand trends of the development of the industry. The field trip also provides students with an opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems, building a bridge between education and application.
