[CCM Cultural Industry Field Trip] The 32nd Shenzhen Gifts & Home Exhibition

On October 20th, 2024, students from School of Culture and Creativity went to the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center to have a research on the Shenzhen Gift & Home Exhibition, which was led by Assistant Professor Dr. WANG Xi, Instructor Ms. LUO Zhuo, and Assistant Instructor Ms. XIAO Yao from Culture, Creativity and Management Programme.



The exhibition covered an area of 260,000 square meters and featured 13 exhibition halls, including food hall, packaging and printing hall, home living hall, cultural and creative products hall, and etc., which brought about 4,500 high-quality exhibitors.



During the visit, exhibitors with unique design and innovative marketing methods attracted more professional audiences. Through the interactive communication with exhibitors, students practiced the processes of trade decision, like price inquiry, price comparing…, which further deepened their understanding of industry operation.



The students actively observed and learned while they were looking around the exhibition. The exhibition themes were diverse, offering valuable opportunities for students to understand the current development status and frontier trends of different industries. This visit served as a bridge between theory and practice for students, enriching their academic vision and laying a solid foundation for future career planning.
