Walking In D-Landscapes-Cityscapes

Digital Video (4m 21s| Colour| Stereo) Immersive theatre

The (D)igital artwork is inspired by Chinese literature (Han Dynasties, BC 202–220) expressing poetic space and emotional status as follows:

行行重行行,與君生別離。

相去萬餘裡,各在天一涯。

...

...

《古詩十九首詩》- 佚名 兩漢

The thoughts and philosophy of Chinese Landscape Art have also been expressed and involved as art therapy for healing mental and psychological equilibrium by Walking amidst the landscape and cityscapes that seek the beauty of mountainscapes, riverscapes, and streetscapes. This new Walking In D-Landscapes-Cityscapes artwork has been underpinned by conducting research and analysis of the materialistic/ social/ economic/ technological/ cultural/ psychological contexts in order to maintain visual/ retinal/ emotional pleasure to help the audience towards positive mental and psychological health during the Epidemic-Lock-down-Nervous-Alienated condition.

Thus, this video also involves a historical/ artistic approach to rediscover the impact/ beauty/ tranquility of the mood of Chinese Landscapes and to the Post-modern digital-landscape-cityscapes in order to mutually formulate a catalyst for promoting mental equilibrium, social inclusion, and new digital artistic content.
