On behalf of Media Arts and Design programme, we sincerely invite you to attend the course works exhibition entitled as “When Shadow Play Meets Modern Design”, which will be hold on Dec 16, 2022 at 2 pm. There are total 78 MAD students enroll the course, 30 groups will present their works. Please kindly refer to the attached invitation card. The details of the exhibition are as following:

Opening Ceremony Time: Dec 16 2022 (Friday) 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Venue: CC-323 & 324 Exhibition Gallery

Exhibition Period: Dec 16 – 18, 2022 (9:00-18:00 p.m.)

Brief Introduction:

The course Digital Imaging and Design introduces students to the fundamental practices in digital (computer) graphic design in both the art and design worlds through serial lectures, demonstrations, and workshops. Adopting the theoretical and practical perspective, the course is delivered by way of ensuring that students experience digital graphics design in a very hands-on way. There are total 4 assignments assigned to the students, namely typography design, IP character design, packaging design and UI design. Students are divided into groups; each group has 2-3 members. All assignments are completed by teamwork. There is a presentation after one assignment is submitted.
