I am Ruan Xinyi. I am fortunate to be the first graduate of MAD and witness the continuous growth of MAD. I did my first master's at UCL and am currently doing my second master's at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. At the same time, I am doing an internship at the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society to help organize the film festival and the film tour for the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's handover. I learned a lot of practical skills in MAD's courses, including design, shooting and editing, and more. With the help of Mr. Andy Tat Keung TAM, I also completed the FYP work that I am very satisfied with. MAD provides a lot of practical and interesting courses, some of which I am not good at and familiar with, but my classmates will help me selflessly, and the teachers are willing to listen to all my thoughts seriously and help me find a solution. This made me realize that I can also complete some difficult tasks, such as interaction design and 3D animation design. Because of the variety of course content, I also learned various skills from two-dimensional to three-dimensional. Four years at UIC not only made me confident but also gave me the ability to solve problems. It also laid a solid foundation for my master's program and internship.
