In December, the results of the 4th "National Art and Design Competition" were announced. Students and teaching staff from the Division of Culture and Creativity, Media Arts and Design (MAD) programme were awarded great achievements in this competition.

The competition was divided into teacher group and student group, MAD teaching staff Dr. Janey HUANG was awarded the First Prize in Photography, and was also awarded the honor of "Excellent Advisor" and "Excellent Organization Teacher". MAD student Li Linshan and Tang Jingru were awarded the Second Prize for Illustration and Mixed Media Production. MAD student Li Kexin and Dou Yuxian were awarded the Third Prize for Illustration. MAD student Liu Xixi, Han Haichen, Jiang Qianxi, Tang Jingru, Liu Yingxi, Li Xinze were awarded the First Prize of Outstanding Creation for Video Production. MAD student Ren Ruohan was awarded the Third Prize for Animation.

"National Art and Design Competition" is the largest high-end, authoritative and professional competition among colleges and universities in China. MAD teaching staff and students created high-quality works that demonstrated original, inspiring personalized and innovative thinking. The competition established a platform for teachers and students to show their design and creative talent, and demonstrates the Division's emphasis on students' practical capabilities.
