3-Dimensional Scene Model

The Magic Brush is a three-dimensional narrative scene model combining the knowledge of illustration and sculpture. An illustration can convey a lot of information, because the visual elements are narrative. Illustrators always hide some clues in the illustration to make the audience look for, such as an illustration of doomsday theme, in which there will be dilapidated vehicles, collapsed buildings and so on. However, the clues that the audience can get are limited. Because the illustration is planar (two-dimensional), the audience can't see the side or back of the illustration, which will affect the audience's speculation on the clues and also the illustrators' creation. Therefore, I try to combine the three-dimensional advantages of sculpture and the visual advantages of illustration to make this scene model with clay as the main material. There will be some hidden clues in this model. The audience needs to use some tools to explore these clues, so as to enrich the story background of this model and let the audience know what a story this model wants to tell.
