7 deadly sins are described in great detail in The Divine Comedy, a masterpiece composed by the famous ltalian poet, Dante Alighieri. The divine comedy appears in the form of poetry. The whole poem is divided into three sections: Hell, Purgatory and Heaven. In purgatory, there are 7 levels where lives souls committed sins at a lower degree during their lifetime. These souls have already repented according to the 7 major human sins (Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth,Wrath, Envy and Pride). Souls have been practiced and washed in Purgatory, and then been raised layer by layer towards light and heaven. In this series of design, I create 7 pieces of image and each image represents one sin.
