Since the development of Chinese and Japanese Yokai studies, Fox has been one of the most representative Yokai in both Chinese and Japanese culture.Yokai narratives can reveal the ideological culture of society and people's subconscious cognition at a deeper level. As an image between Yin/Yang, men/women, Fox has dual attributes and can carry more meaning. This article takes the fox images in history as a reference, and the differences in Fox images in Chinese and Japanese video games as the research object. Studying the latter's inheritance and extension of the former, and exploring patriarchy and gender concepts implied in the video games.
