In recent years, the integration of traditional media and emerging media is a major and profound change in the media field, and VR journalism is gradually becoming a new opportunity for traditional media transformation. However, as an emerging narrative medium, the development of VR technology in the field of journalism is still immature, and the ethical issues it raises still need to be explored. Based on the characteristics of VR news, this paper systematically studies its ethical issues from the perspective of Flow theory and user experience based on theoretical studies at home and abroad. Experiments and in-depth interviews are also conducted to analyse the ethical dilemmas caused by the immersive and interactive nature of VR news in conjunction with existing cases. The issues of accuracy and authenticity, ethics and objectivity, and privacy violation that VR news is facing are derived through image differentiation understanding, producer's emotional manipulation, and other aspects.
