This video was shot in a number of small workshops or factories in the textile and garment industry in the villages of Datang, Shangchong and Kangle in the Haizhu district of Guangzhou. The video illustrates the constraints and stereotypi-cal nature of their jobs by juxtaposing the internal production lines of the factories with the external environment, using collected elements to visually connect them, and to show the difficulties that the industry will face in the future.
