Gender expressions of masculine and feminine masculinity are deeply rooted within East Asian cultural contexts. Gender relations are often antagonistic and unequal, and people even unconsciously accept stigmatization that distorts the perception of natural humanity and desire. 扼.Soul Sighs is intended to map this phenomenon. With a sculpture shaped like a tumor-ridden heart with externalized sexuality, a product of deflation, as if stereotypes were choking the soul.
