Taking inspiration from Zhuangzi's Butterfly Dream, this artwork abstractly explores the delicate relationship between algorithms and the physical world. The electronic butterfly that appears at people's will cannot fly beyond the computer screen, while the flowers in reality seem to tremble lightly as if hosting a butterfly. Butterflies, flowers, controllers and controlled, observers and observed, all blend and possibly never separate. How can we prove thed existence of a butterfly that has never existed, and how can we demonstrate our subjectivity in both the virtual and physical world?
