"Piece of You" is a project that explores the evolution of traditional Chinese funerals and modern Chinese perspectives on death, revealing the inadequacy of death education within contemporary Chinese society. To address this issue, I've employed an innovative approach of personalized funerals. I created three interactive experience installations through sound, visual and tactile elements. Through these devices, the experiencer can re-interact with the deceased in different senses. The aim is to help individuals better understand death and separation and to develop a more open and accepting attitude towards this unavoidable aspect of life.
