[DCC-MUS Lecture] 'Elmer Bernstein to Dario Marianellia – A Personal Reflection of Performing Music for Film'

    As part of DCC's Visiting Artist Series, the Music Programme is honoured to announce that Mr Paul Archibald of the London Mozart Players will present a talk entitled 'Elmer Bernstein to Dario Marianellia – A Personal Reflection of Performing Music for Film' on Wednesday 27th September 2017 at 3.30pm in the Music Recital Hall (CC-105). In his talk, Mr Archibald will give a fascinating insight into his extensive experience as a professional musician recording music for many Hollywood movies including Harry Potter, James Bond, Pirates of the Caribbean, Notting Hill and Gladiator. Mr Archibald is a world-class trumpeter who has been a principal player in the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London Sinfonietta, BBC National Orchestra Wales and is currently principal trumpet and Chairman of the London Mozart Players and principal trumpet of the Britten Sinfonia and Orchestra of St John's.

    All staff and students are cordially invited to attend this event. Music and CTV students in particular are encouraged to attend. A summary of the details appear below:
