The Music Department hosted a captivating Piano Masterclass on September 20, 2024, featuring the esteemed pianist and educator, Professor Zidong Zhou. Students, faculty, and music enthusiasts gathered at CC129 to witness a three-hour session filled with profound musical insights, technical mastery, and inspirational guidance.
Professor Zidong Zhou, an Associate Professor of Piano at Wuhan Conservatory of Music, brought his extensive experience and artistry to the session, captivating the audience from the very start. With a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University and numerous accolades to his name, Professor Zhou provided participants with valuable lessons on piano technique, interpretation, and performance. His dynamic approach to piano pedagogy encouraged students to explore new dimensions of their musical abilities.
