The Animation and Interactive Media Programme nurtures professional talents with innovative and critical thinking capable of advancing in various entertainment industries such as animation, film, television, game development, interactive media, new media and other emerging media fields. AIM students cultivate theoretical and practical interactive media and animation expertise in a student-focused educational environment equipped with modern facilities and the most up-to-date technology.


The program fosters a new generation of graduates with a global vision, professional practices, production and research skills suitable for the fast-paced development of the media and creative industries in the Greater China Region and overseas.

Students master the foundations of animation design and professional production during their studies, develop their original creative vision, and learn to express their ideas in multimedia and verbal forms. Among the practical foundations, students gain experience in 2D and 3D digital arts, computer modelling, 2D and 3D animation, storytelling and script-writing.


At the same time, due to the close relationships of the Programme with the creative industry and numerous internship opportunities, students experience the most recent developments the animation and interactive media in the professional setting. As a result of their studies and practical experience, AIM students distinguish themselves due to their global vision, innovative talents, attained research skills, proficiency in production and management relevant to the industry.
