UIC initiated the Academic Advisory Programme for undergraduate students beginning in September 2020. Academic Advisors provide general academic guidance and pastoral care to students. 

The objectives of this programme are:

• To encourage Student-Teacher interaction and mentorship

• To help students integrate in the UIC community

• To ensure students have a productive and positive experience at UIC
