Minor Programme in Theatre and Performance (TP) 

The TP Programme is under the Cinema and Television (CTV) Programme of DCC. 

The Minor Programme in TP is aimed at individuals with passion and initiative who would like to enhance their skills in acting, directing, designing, writing and producing a variety of projects in live and mediated performance projects. The Programme provides opportunity for students to pursue their interest in commercial, fine art, and social engagement forms of performance. The curriculum supports both studio-based learning and critical engagement. Foundational theoretical courses and hands-on engagement equip students to think critically and practice creatively. After taking the Minor Programme, students will be equipped with a foundation of theatre-related courses including stagecraft, acting, voice, movement and directing, in order to combine artistic practice with other academic pursuits.
