[CCM Lecture Review] CEO of Xinaolin Tech Park Co., Ltd., Ms. Jinghua FAN Shared Career Development Experience


On the evening of November 13, 2024, the Major Course “Applied Semiotics for the Cultural Entrepreneur and Manager”, delivered by the Culture, Creativity and Management (CCM) of School of Culture and Creativity (SCC), held a lecture "CEOs Experiences & Challenges”. The event featured a talk by Ms. Jinghua FAN, a 2017 graduate of the Culture, Creativity and Management program, Master of Fine Arts from the Royal College of Art, and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zhuhai Xinaolin Tech Park Co., Ltd. The lecture was chaired by Dr. Iceman LEUNG, an Assistant Professor of CCM. He said that this lecture aims to help students understand how CCM graduates cam apply their knowledge in practical work, as well as the challenges and coping strategies they may encounter in the process of entrepreneurship.

During the lecture, Ms. FAN shared her professional story, including how she applied the theoretical knowledge of the CCM to her actual work and the challenges and solutions she encountered in her career. She emphasized the importance of innovative thinking and continuous learning, and encouraged students to maintain an open mind and a positive attitude in their pursuit of professional development.



Ms. FAN also shared the evolution of her management style, from a strict manager to a leader who pays more attention to employees' personal psychology and team harmony. She mentioned that she has experienced starting from the grassroots level, gradually building her own team, and continuously learning and adapting in the process. She also stressed the importance of corporate culture, believing that a good corporate culture can attract and retain outstanding talents.

In the Q&A session, students actively asked questions involving career planning, entrepreneurial resource acquisition, team management, and other aspects. Ms. FAN answered based on her personal experience and reminded students that when curating exhibitions, they should have both artistic sensibility and rational management thinking. Students expressed that the lecture was "packed with valuable information," giving them a deeper understanding of the underlying logic of cultural management and business operations.
