[CCM Career Talk] CCM Alumni Ms. Jacey Li Shared Career Experience in Cultural Industry

At 15:00-16:30 on April 25, 2024, the career talk “Leaping into the Culture Industry”, organized by Creativity and Management Programme (CCM), School of Culture and Creativity (SCC), was successfully held in CC326 of UIC. Ms. Jacey Li, CCM 2014 Cohort Graduate as well as the OUTPUT Senior strategic development manager, shared her career experience and learning suggestions in cultural industry.

The lecture was hosted by Dr. Iceman LEUNG, the Acting Associate Head of DCCD as well as the Assistant Professor of CCM. He showed gratitude to Ms. Li for coming back to school and shared her valuable experience, and hoped students can increase their understanding and build up their confidence in cultural industry through the career talk.

During the talk, Ms. Li shared her experience of study in UIC and working in Bi-city Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (UABB) and Design Society, encouraging students to absorb knowledge as well as gain internship experience in university period, and take advantages in management area as well as keep learning in the whole career using soft and hard skills, to become a T-type talent in breadth and depth with both outstanding specialized knowledge and comprehensive quality.

At the end of the talk, Ms. Li also gave students suggestions on decision making about further study or employment after undergraduate study etc., receiving students’ great appreciation that they have learnt substantially from the talk.
