On December 7, 2024, Culture Creativity and Management Program students from the courses “Public Arts and Museum Design Management in the Urban Environment” and “Exhibition Design: Creative Interpretation and Management”, led by Dr. Geuntae PARK, Associate Dean of the School of Culture and Creativity and Associate Professor of Culture Creativity and Management, along with instructor Ms. LUO Zhuo, embarked on a meaningful visit to the Zhuhai Gu Yuan Art Museum and Houshan ART.
Zhuhai Gu Yuan Art Museum, the city’s first municipal art museum, fulfills six key functions: collection, research, exhibition, education, service, and exchange. Following its expansion and upgrade, the museum officially reopened to the public on August 9, 2024, offering high-quality art and cultural experiences to citizens and visitors alike.

After their visit to Gu Yuan Art Museum, the group proceeded to Houshan ART, a contemporary cultural and art exchange center. Currently, the center is hosting an environmentally themed exhibition titled “Western Coastal Ecological Line - Zhuhai departure”. To enhance the students’ understanding of the exhibition’s theme and design concepts, Dr. PARK invited Mr. HE Junyan, the exhibition’s curator, to provide an on-site explanation. Mr. HE, who is also a lecturer in Media Arts and Design Program, elaborated on the exhibition’s core ideas and the creative ingenuity behind its installations, offering the students profound insights into the fusion of environmental protection and art.
