[CCM Cultural Industry Field Trip] Special Exhibition of Sanxingdui Artifacts in Hengqin, Zhuhai (Cultural Policy & Customer Relationship Management Courses)

On March 12, 2025, students from the "Cultural Policy, Economy and Development" and "Customer Relationship Management in the Cultural Industry" courses of Cultural Creativity and Management, visited the "Treasures of Ancient Shu - Sanxingdui and Jinsha" special heritage exhibition at the Hengqin Cultural and Art Center in Zhuhai, which were led by Assistant Professor Dr. WANG Xi, and Assistant Instructor Ms. XIAO Yao.



The " Treasures of Ancient Shu - Sanxingdui and Jinsha" special artifact exhibition is divided into four sections, showcasing 163 (sets of) delicate heritage such as bronzes, gold vessels, and jades unearthed from the Sanxingdui and Jinsha sites. Visitors have the opportunity to admire these millennia-old treasures of ancient Shu civilization up close, experiencing the charm of Chinese civilization. The exhibition also employs multimedia displays and interactive experiences to allow visitors to deeply understand the intrinsic value of the ancient Shu civilization and appreciate its unique artistic charm while viewing the heritage.



During this field trip, students learned about the historical development and archaeological achievements of the Sanxingdui site, experiencing the longevity and profundity of the ancient Shu civilization in the long river of history. They also had close contact with the charm of historical civilization and the professional practice of curating, which broadened their perspectives in the field of cultural industries, accumulating valuable experience for their future studies and practice.
