UIC launched the Academic Advisory Programme (AAP) to:

1) encourages a high level of Student-Teacher interaction and mentorship in UIC’s education,

2) help students feel they are part of UIC community, and

3) ensure that students spend their time at UIC in the most productive and positive way.

The target students of AAP are Year 2-4. Each academic advisor will meet students to provide general supervision, such as course selection, course add/drop, major/minor programme study, programme transfer, scholarship, employment, competition, internship, study aboard, and exchange; and provide consultation to students who may be experiencing physical, mental or emotional issues. Students are encouraged to make an appointment with their AA when they need consultation.
